The Royal Armoury's oldest artefacts are the sets of royal state and ceremonial weapons that were stored in the old Three Crowns Palace during the 16th century.
Today it is a museum with the ceremonial costumes of Sweden's royals, ceremonial props for parades and royal carriages.
The Royal Armoury is a state museum housed at Stockholm Royal Palace. Together with Skokloster Castle and the Hallwyl Museum it constitutes a government agency in its own right, and is accountable to the Ministry of Culture.
Therefor the museum is not included in the Palace ticket. For more information about the museum's opening hours and entrance fees visit the Royal Armoury web site »
